Our Story
Our story starts with our family.
Record of Respect is a family-run business, created from our own experience and our own search to keep the memories of those we love, in one place.
We didn’t set out to create an album.
We were simply clearing a family home. Like many families, we thought every Order of Service booklet, memorial card and keepsake was safely tucked away together in one drawer.
It wasn’t.
It wasn’t in one place.
As we packed room after room, we kept finding more.
One in a bedside table. Another in a kitchen cupboard.
A memorial card pressed inside a book. An Order of Service tucked into an old photograph album.
Each one belonged to someone who had shaped our family.
Every booklettells a story.
An Order of Service isn’t just paper.
It’s the final celebration of someone’s life.
It’s filled with names, photographs, favourite poems, hymns, memories and the people who loved them.
Years later, those little booklets become something incredibly valuable.
They remind children of grandparents they barely knew.
They help grandchildren discover family stories.
Yet so often they’re forgotten because there was never a proper place to keep them.
So we created the place we wished we’d always had.
Record of Respect wasn’t designed in a boardroom. It began around our own family table.
We wanted somewhere beautiful. Something you would proudly keep on a bookshelf instead of hiding in a drawer. Something elegant enough to honour the people inside it. Something built to last long enough to be passed from one generation to the next.
Not just storage. A family heirloom.
For us. For them. For the future.
We created Record of Respect because we needed it ourselves.
